MARKET SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE....
After 20 splendid weeks (only two bad weather days) the farmers
market has gone into hibernation mode. Another succesful season
has been had thanks to our wonderful set of vendors and generous
community we live in. The market will resume next year in late June.
Until then, stay tuned for information on the Gardening Festival
to be held this spring and details about our free, off-season workshops.
During the summer months, the Gunnison Farmers Market is located
on Main and Virginia
and is open every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Our location is right in the heart of Gunnison's historic Main Street,
with excellent restaurants and enticing shopping all around. From
mid-October to early November the market is held indoors at the
the Fred
Field Heritage Center
located at 275 S. Spruce St
(a few blocks south of Safeway).
Each week's Farmers Market is an exciting event! Perhaps you'd
like to join the crew of volunteers who put it on; if so, drop
us a line. Or maybe you'd like to sell your produce, food, or
wares at the market - in that case, check out our vendor
information page.
Whether you come as a customer, a vendor, a volunteer or all three(!),
we know that you'll enjoy the sights, sounds, smells, and general
good times at the Gunnison Farmers Market. We're looking forward
to seeing old friends and making new ones. |
